This past Saturday, June 30th , 64 Maritimers joined the fight against cancer by taking part in The Trinidad and Tobago Cancer Society ‘s 5k charity walk, Bubbles for Life, held at the Brian Lara Stadium. Being the first of its kind in Trinidad & Tobago, people were dying to see what it was all about, and it certainly did not disappoint!
Having foam stations during various point of the walk created excitement for people of all ages, as people were stopping to take photos in the bubbles and even going back around to go through the foam for a second time! We surely hope this event becomes an annual one, as we would love to participate again next year.
