Workmen's Compensation
Workmen’s Compensation/ Employer’s Liability provides coverage for employers in the case of injury, death or occupational disease of employees during and in the course of their employment. Payments are made to the insured based on his liability for compensation to the workman.
This coverage is a statutory requirement as stated in the Workmen’s Compensation Act 1960 – Chapter 88:05
Coverage under the Act includes the following:
• Compensation on death of the workman
• Compensation for injuries
• Permanent total disablement
• Permanent partial disablement
• Temporary disablement
